Darkest Hour provides a light pollution mapping service, weather and astronomical condition data, and educational content for stargazing and astrophotography enthusiasts. The Service is provided "as is" and "as available."

Light pollution data is derived from NASA VIIRS satellite imagery, which is in the public domain. Map tiles are provided by OpenStreetMap contributors under the Open Database License.
